About
Angelica Garcia-Ditta, LICSW is the Owner and Psychotherapist at Armonia Mental Health, PLLC. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she’s been practicing mental health care in the Washington, DC area since 2016 after completing a Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked in community-based organizations, supporting marginalized groups and empowering the voices of youth and young adults, immigrant populations, communities of color, people living with HIV/AIDS, and complex trauma. She is passionate about a holistic, collaborative approach to mental health care.
Angelica is licensed as an independent clinical social worker in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Angelica is also a Registered Nurse and offers a whole-person perspective to therapy sessions.
Her practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Angelica‘s post-graduate training includes Perinatal Mental Health Training through Postpartum Support International and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. She is Level 1 Certified in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT).
Rates and Insurance
Full individual Rate- $150 for 50 min sessions out of network
Services are available in English or Spanish for ages 15+
